Fall/Winter Class offerings
Spooky Season 101 - Live Zoom Class
Monday, October 3rd, 7PM - 8:30PM Mountain Time
Investment - $35
Spooky season is right around the corner and many folks will soon be experimenting with the “thinning of the veil.” If you are new to seeking ghostly encounters, but hope to spend your October visiting cemeteries, haunted locations, and experimenting with contact with the dead, this class is for you. We will cover:
- Preparing to enter a haunted space
- On-the-fly protection and grounding when you encounter spirits unexpectedly
- Spirit communication tools such as spirit boxes, REM pods, automatic writing, pendulums, and spirit boards
- Graveyard etiquette
- Clearing your energy to ensure you don’t take home any unwanted visitors
- How to seek out spirit communication with empathy for the dead and why the “paranormal bro” mentality most of us have seen on TV is just plain rude
You’ll leave class with a better understanding of how to protect and enjoy yourself when seeking contact with spirits and Sterling will surely share spooky stories throughout what is sure to be a spirited evening!
Tarot 101 - Annual in-person class!
Saturday, November 5th, 12PM - 6PM Mountain Time
Investment - $175
Limited to 20 students, includes my newly revised Tarot 101 zine!
Whether you are reading for yourself or a friend, the art of tarot reading can be fun, powerful, and insightful. This one day, “drink from the firehose” workshop will explore all 78 cards of the tarot. We will go over the cards’ upright and reversed meanings and practice throwing spreads. All students will walk out with the newly revised 2nd edition of Sterling Moon’s Tarot 101 zine and the ability to start reading tarot regularly right off the bat!
Please bring a notebook, writing utensil, and a tarot deck based on the Smith-Rider Waite. Have water and snacks if you need them, as our breaks will be short.
Anticipated schedule
12-2 – Divination basics & Major Arcana of the Tarot
2-2:15 – Break
2:15 – 4:15 – Minor Arcana of the Tarot
4:15-4:30 – Break
4:30 – 5:30 – The Tarot Court & Mechanics of Readings
5:30 – 6 – Practice!
Please note: These teachings are based on the Smith-Rider-Waite deck, and that is what we will cover in class. There are many decks that are fun variations on the Smith-Rider-Waite, so don’t feel obligated to get the classic version if you find a different one that really speaks to you. There are decks available to buy at Ritualcravt if you need one.
