For Modern Mediums who are craving that in-person experience, Beyond the Veil awaits.
Beyond the Veil is exclusively open to alumni of Modern Mediums, my 7-week spirit communication training program. We practice paranormal exploration techniques and experiments, dig into history and local lore, and hold an old-fashioned séance (with some modern twists) that always holds surprises.
In June 2027, Beyond the Veil is headed to Salem, Massachusetts.
Salem and the surrounding areas are some of the most historically important places in the United States for modern practitioners of magic. We will go beyond the veil - and beyond the pop culture - to connect with the history , vibrancy, and power of this truly magical place.
Beyond the Veil is delighted to call The Coach House, a historic boutique hotel in the heart of Salem, home for our time in Salem.
We gather the week of Midsummer from Tuesday, June 22 - Thursday, June 24, 2027, offering a unique opportunity to experience “Witch City” at the peak of summer.

Guests are greeted with goodie bags, snacks, sightseeing suggestions, and frivolity!
5PM - Opening invocation and setup of the BTV altar
7PM - Ghost tour of Salem
9PM - Hangout at the Coach House for tales of BTVs past and Estes Method Spirit Box sessions for folks who can’t wait to get started

9AM - Morning meditation with Sterling Moon
10AM - Brunch Grazing Table by Boards for Days
1PM - Group outing to the Salem Village Parsonage Foundation in Danvers, Proctor’s Ledge, and the Salem Witch Trials Memorial

Please note - Modern Mediums is the prerequisite for this event. If you have not yet taken Modern Mediums, Sterling will send you registration details for 2026 once they are posted.
BTV Salem is priced by the room. This gives you the opportunity to split a room and the cost or have a special experience that is all your own.
If your application is approved, a deposit of $555 or $1,111 will be required to secure your room. Payment plans for the balance are available for those who want them.
