Are you interested in creating a spiritual practice you can stick to?
Bb, Building Blocks is right for you!
Building Blocks is a program of the Sterling Moon Divination Academy that is designed for folks who are new to exploring their spiritual gifts and want to build a strong foundation. Building Blocks is also a good fit for experienced practitioners who want to revisit the basics and refresh their practice.
Building Blocks offers opportunities to cultivate a resilient and well-rounded spiritual practice, particularly for those who know they have some kind of psychic or intuitive gifts, but are struggling to understand or refine them. Building Blocks will also support you in connecting with your spiritual court and working with the fundamentals of magical practice.
Comprised of four classes over five weeks, Building Blocks includes lots of self-paced exercises coupled with group practice to give you a strong start as you explore your own unique abilities, learn the basics of conjuration and spellcasting, connect with your spiritual team, and outline a resilient, personal practice that you can stick to. The program is capped at 22 students.

How?
All classes will be held via Zoom on Thursdays from 6:30PM – 8:30PM US Mountain Time
Please note that the exercises in this program are meditation and visualization heavy. Ensure that you can attend class somewhere quiet and relatively undisturbed. Please also have a mirror or empty picture frame available, as we will incorporate scrying into some of our exercises.
Classes will be recorded, with access to replays available until April 30, 2026.
Students will be provided the link for the Sterling Moon Divination Academy Discord, usually after Class #2 or Class #3, which is a space for students and alumni of SMDA programs to connect, and a code for 50% off a 60-minute tarot reading or consultation with Sterling.
When?
Class #1: Your Inner Foundation
Thursday, January 29, 2026, 6:30PM – 8:30PM US Mountain Time
Part of building strength and resiliency in your spiritual practice is intimately understanding yourself and what you bring to the table at any given time. Each of us has the capacity to receive psychic and intuitive messages, particularly when paired with exercises that can assist you in honing those abilities. Of equal importance is the ability to recognize and set down excess and unhelpful energy and discern where it is coming from, whether that be from within us or from external sources. In Class #1, we will explore our Inner Foundation through exercises that will help us explore our psychic senses, spiritual discernment, and introduce us to the concept of “head spaces” and “soul parties.”
Homework: Pair up! You’ll be assigned a short exercise to do with one of your classmates.
Class #2: External Resources
Thursday, February 5, 2026, 6:30PM – 8:30PM US Mountain Time
Although we each have a vast landscape of internal power, we don’t have to go it alone. In Class #2, we will explore the external resources we each have available. We’ll discuss the concepts of our highest consciousness, guides, gods, ancestors and more. We will go over ways to build relationships with beings outside ourselves and work with meditations to connect with our highest consciousness and highest spiritual guides.
Homework: Pair up! You’ll be assigned a short exercise to do with one of your classmates.
Break Week (no class February 12, 2026) – You will be offered personal and partner practice and a week from class to let what we’ve covered integrate
Class #3: Conjuration and Spellcasting
Thursday, February 19, 2026, 6:30PM – 8:30PM US Mountain Time
Throughout history, magical practices have been linked with resilience, resistance, and creating change in the face of challenges. While our modern needs look different than that of our ancestors, many old practices have roots in improving and ensuring health, financial stability, matters of the heart, and care for the home and family. In Class #3 we will explore the anatomy of spells and basics of conjuration and casting as well as cultural considerations that should be considered as you build your own magical practice. Lastly, you will be offered suggestions for exploring the magical traditions most closely associated with your own lineages.
Class #4: Building Your Practice
Thursday, February 26, 2026, 6:30PM – 8:30PM US Mountain Time
Class #4 will be dedicated to helping you craft a plan for your spiritual practice. We will review what we have covered and explore ways you can build on what you have learned. We will discuss ways to manage and strengthen your gifts, from daily rituals to intentional practice. We’ll explore the concept of spiritual hygiene and how to bring spellcasting and conjuration into the day-to-day aspects of your life. Students will have the opportunity to outline a one-to-three month set of practice goals based on your individual interests and strengths.
